Nursery in Progress

Grace's nursery (oh yeah, we're having a girl...Grace Kathryn) is still under construction, I'd like to find a nice bookcase and/or storage bench.

The Young America Caroline crib that Daddy bought from Kids Room Stuff store in Alpharetta. (very disappointed with assembly & lack of service after purchase was made)

The lighting fixture that Daddy installed.

What a Miracle!

Today, Trent & I went to my 12 week checkup at the OBGYN and witnessed the most amazing Ultrasound in 4-D. It allowed us to see our baby (who is only 2.3 inches long) in multiple dimensions...and it looks like it's already grown into a full grown child! It's a great example of God's miraculous work and the advancement of technology today! Unfortunately, baby was shy and had it's back to us, so we only got a good view of the back and some side.

The word is out!

Trent & I are expecting! We are super excited and can't wait to watch Baby Warren grow. Here is a snip from the 9 week ultrasound. (head is at bottom!)

Seems like everyone is pregnant these days, so I've been immersed in baby-related decor and items. I discovered a website Serena and Lily that has the most stylish baby bedding and decor I've seen! These are a few samples of things I found to be VERY cute. They also have a book out, called Nursery Style, that is available on Amazon that also features Kate Spade as one of the designers.

My Brother and his Son

John David Emery IV is born!

March 12, 2008 - My 2nd nephew has arrived! John David Emery, IV was born early on Wednesday morning, weighing 7 lbs. 15 oz., 20.5 inches long. Three years ago to the day, John David Emery, Sr., (our Grandaddy) left this world for heaven - I must say I think he had something to do with the timing of his great-grandson's birth who will carry on his name!
